2024 U-23 Asian Cup: Complete Results, Schedule, Standings and Top Scores

The 2024 U-23 Asian Cup will be held from April 15 to May 3 2024. The Indonesian U-23 national team is one of the 16 teams that will compete in the tournament which will be held in Qatar later.

Of the 16 teams competing in the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup, the U-23 Indonesian National Team is the only debutant team in this edition. Competing with the 15 other best Asian teams is certainly a challenge for the Garuda Muda Team.

Apart from the Indonesian U-23 National Team and Qatar which have host team status, there are 14 strong Asian teams, such as Japan, South Korea, Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia.

Apart from that, there are also Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia which also come from Southeast Asia such as Indonesia.

The Indonesian U-23 national team played three matches in the group phase. The result was losing 0-2 to hosts Qatar U-23, then beating Australia U-23 with a score of 1-0, and most recently beating Jordan 4-1.

In the quarter-finals, the U-23 Indonesian National Team successfully defeated South Korea on penalties. Next, Shin Tae-yong’s team will meet Uzbekistan in the semifinals, April 29 2024.
