Indonesia and South Korea faced off in the Top 8 round of the U-23 Asian Cup at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium, Friday 26 April 2024. The match was fierce before Indonesia won with a score of 11-10 in the penalty shootout.

Naver journalist , Park Joo-hee, used the diction of rebellion in Shin Tae-yong’s actions to bring Indonesia to defeat South Korea. According to him, something happened at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium that was beyond everyone’s predictions.
