Good news ahead of the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup quarter-final match between the Indonesian U-23 national team and South Korea U-23 on Friday (26/04/2024) early morning WIB.
Via the social network Instagram , PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir announced the extension of Shin Tae-yong contract as coach of the Indonesian National Team.
In the upload, it was revealed that Shin Tae-yong, a tactician from South Korea, would be under contract until 2027.

For your information, Shin Tae-yong’s contract as coach of the Indonesian National Team has actually ended at the end of 2023.
However, PSSI then gave an extension of six months with two targets. First, to qualify the Indonesian National Team to the last 16 of the Asian Cup.
The second brought the U-23 Indonesian National Team to the quarter-finals of the U-23 Asian Cup. Now Shin Tae-yong can fulfill these two targets, he has received a long-term contract until 2027.
