Leny Yoro came to Manchester United at a very young age. Harry Maguire has no doubt that Yoro has a bright future.

Yoro managed to steal the attention of several top European clubs while playing with Lille. He has become a regular starter at the French club despite only being 18 years old.

Initially, Yoro was widely reported to be moving to Real Madrid. However, Manchester United managed to win the hunt for the player.

Manchester United bought Yoro for around 62 million euros. The player has signed a contract until June 2029 with an option for a further year.

Bright future

Maguire will compete with Yoro in Manchester United’s back line. The former Red Devils captain is very confident that Yoro has a bright future.

“We have to remind ourselves that he is still very young,” Maguire told the Athletic .

“There will be mistakes, but he has every attribute of a centre-back in the modern game, so I’m sure he’ll have a bright future.”
