Serie A club AC Milan has issued an official statement regarding Rafael Leao. They ensured that the winger will not be leaving San Siro this summer.
In recent days, Leao has been rumored to be leaving AC Milan again. One indication is the winger’s absence from the Rossoneri’s recent third jersey photoshoot.
Rumors circulating in Italy suggest that Leao will move to Spain. He is reportedly being targeted by La Liga giants, Barcelona.
AC Milan through their CEO, Giorgio Furlani spoke out regarding the rumor. They confirmed that the rumor of Leao to Barcelona was nothing more than a hoax.

Not Going Away
In an interview with El Chringuito, Furlani confirmed that Leao will not be moving to Barcelona. He ensured that the winger will continue his career with the Rossoneri.
“Rafael Leao will not leave AC Milan this summer,” Furlani said.
“Will he move to Barcelona? No way! He will not leave this club, and we are 100% sure of that.”
Loyal to AC Milan
Furlani also dismissed rumours that Leao would ask AC Milan to sell him this summer.
He said the winger would be loyal to AC Milan and he would not move clubs in this transfer market.
“Will Rafa ask to leave? No! He will never ask to leave this club. So I think my message is clear for this situation,” he concluded.
Strong Position
AC Milan itself has a strong position to retain Leao this summer.
The winger recently signed a new contract and will strengthen Il Diavolo Rosso until 2028.
